  • Altitude Adventures offers top of the line Polaris RZR rentals equipped with touchscreen gps, bluetooth speakers, roofs, and windshields. We drop off, pick up, gas up, and wash your atv rental as well as provide you a map with recommended routes and stops. Before you ride off, we will give you a full walk around, answer any questions, and show you how to safely operate the vehicle. Drop off and pick up will primarily be at Camp Bird Trailhead servicing Yankee Boy Basin, Imogene Pass, and Governor Basin. We also offer drop off and pick up at Ironton Trailhead servicing Corkscrew, Hurricane, and California Pass to Animas Forks. If you have your own machine, but are in need of trailering services, give us a call and we can take care of that for you too!

A full day rental is between 6:00-8:00 PM one evening to 4:30 PM the following evening. Reservations are recommended. Half day rentals are for 5 hours and are based on daily availability, (Reservations not accepted for half day rentals).

Certified IFMGA Mountain Guides, have been climbing 10+ years, and are looking to spread their knowledge and skill to those who may have never climbed before, to those who are looking to improve on skills, or adventure seekers looking to be shown what Ouray has to offer!

Moxie Mountain Guides, strive to elevate those from marginalized communities (Black, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+ communities, and climbers of size) so they can experience adventures such as ice climbing, skiing, ski mountaineering, rock climbing, and alpine climbing.

Box Cañon Falls

The "Box Cañon" Falls, Ouray's own wonder of the world, is the culmination of Canyon Creek narrowing and spilling thousands of gallons a minute of water over the falls. It is truly a dramatic scene, and one that you can enjoy from both above and below the falls. The "Box Cañon" Box has been designated an important bird area by the National Audobon Society. Cascade Falls

The Lower Cascade Falls trail is rated an easy hike, which takes you up to the base and last in a series of seven waterfalls that carries snow melt off the mountains and down one of two flumes through Ouray. Loc: 8th Ave

Fellin Park

Fellin Park - the Ouray Hot Springs Park - is located just South of our natural hot mineral springs pool. The gazebo and picnic area are available to groups wishing to rent an area for picnics, family gatherings and weddings. Loc: Hot Springs

Ouray has hosted annual Canyoning Festivals since 2009 and is excited to host the 2022 Ouray Canyon Festival held August 10-14.
